Based on a blend of 2008 and 2007 grapes, this extra brut (no dosage added) has a deep golden color, with scattered bubbles. The nose is intense and charismatic, revolving around yeasty, stewed white fruits. A scent of old rose binds zesty citrus. On the palate, the attack is frank, creamy, mocha-like, then rapidly vinous. Apple (granny smith) and lime create a salivating finish. Ideal with sea bream ceviche.
