The thin, delicate and persistent bubbles please the eye. This cuvée is composed of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir with 7g/l added sugar. The nose is attractive with aromas of juicy pears, fresh almonds, poached mangoes, buttered brioche and dried fruits. In the mouth, the attack is clean and carried by chewy notes of lemon and a subtle minerality. This champagne could be served over an apéritif with toasts of pata negra ham.

Domaine Méa

It's in Louvois, a small village nestled among the vines south of the Reims mountains, that the Méa Champagne family has been making champagnes for over fifty years. They work with Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, mainly in Bouzy, Louvois, Ludes and Tauxières. Sophie Moussié, with her husband Franck, represents the fifth generation. In 2023, they decided to change the name of the brand to "Domaine Méa" and switch to organic farming.
