Still in its youth, this vintage opens with a slight sensation of cold fire, before sunnier aromas of white fruit (Conference pear, quince), apricot and aromatic herbs (thyme, laurel) enrich the bouquet. This shyness is echoed in a body brightened by punchy bubbles where notes of yellow citrus (lemon, yuzu) and white fruit share the aromas. Tension and minerality share the chalky finish.

Domaine Méa

It's in Louvois, a small village nestled among the vines south of the Reims mountains, that the Méa Champagne family has been making champagnes for over fifty years. They work with Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, mainly in Bouzy, Louvois, Ludes and Tauxières. Sophie Moussié, with her husband Franck, represents the fifth generation. In 2023, they decided to change the name of the brand to "Domaine Méa" and switch to organic farming.
