The rosé color sparkles and the nose bewitches with aromas of raspberry, wild strawberry, rose thorn and black pepper. On the palate, the attack is frank, with a juicy texture that leads to flavors of blackberry and redcurrant. Medium, dynamic bubbles accompany a light tannic structure that adds chewiness. The whole is balanced, salivating, joyful and finishes on bitters that add length and complexity. A racy, gourmet wine.

Delamotte

The company was founded in Reims in 1760 by François Delamotte. Marie-Louise de Nonancourt revived the brand in 1927, establishing it in the village of Mesnil-sur-Oger, a temple of the Côte des Blancs. Owned by the Laurent-Perrier group, the house has been managed since 1997 by Didier Depond, also head of Salon. Michel Fauconnet, Laurent-Perrier's historic cellar master, is in charge of vinification. The specialty remains Chardonnay from parcels all classified 100% Grand Cru, around Mesnil-sur-Oger, on the Côte des Blancs, which produces wines renowned for their finesse and freshness. Delamotte is a sought-after brand for gourmets.
