Superb color and ultra-fine bubbles for this beautifully evolved vintage. The nose opens with scents of mushrooms, After Eight, sourdough bread, gingerbread and hints of walnut. On the palate, the wine bears witness to the passage of time, with a tightness of texture but a fine presence. To take advantage of its interesting mushroom side, it's ideal to open with a pithivier.
