E. Rigollot
Claude Rigollot set up his business in 1970 near Bar-sur-Aube, with just a few ares of vines, but the family had been winemakers for five generations. He marketed his first bottles ten years later, in the 1980s. His son Emmanuel took over in 2009, after completing a BTS in technical sales at the Lycée Viticole d'Avize and a long internship in the United States. The estate has nearly 7 hectares of vines in Bergères and Baroville. Pinot noir is the predominant grape variety, complemented by 20% Chardonnay. You can visit the estate by appointment and taste the wines in a cathedral tasting room.
