With candied lemon peel and bitter orange peel, the nose is all fresh acidity, with delicately aniseed notes of star anise and sweet spices (turmeric, coriander, cumin). Small bitters greet the palate, while yellow citrus takes over. A fresh, delicate finish, underlined by present yet elegant bubbles.

Located in Villenauxe-la-Grande on the southern slopes of the Sézannais region, Torchet Champagne is a family business that is constantly evolving with the next generation: Laëtitia and Pierre-Henri, who have also launched their own brands: PH Torchet and Champagne Laëtitia Torchet. When they aren’t busy managing their own cuvées, they join their father, Frédéric, and help him tend the vineyard and produce wine from the 7 hectares around Villenauxe-la-Grande, which are dominated by Chardonnay. In addition, they grow Pinot Noir in the communes of Les Riceys and Essoyes in the Côte des Bar region.
