Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Located on the southern slopes of the Sézanne region, Torchet is a family story in constant evolution, with the children, Laëtitia and Pierre-Henri, having each embarked on their own ventures to market their own wines under the names PH Torchet and Champagne Laëtitia Torchet. When they aren’t busy managing their own wines, they join their father, Frédéric, and help him tend the vineyard and produce wine from the 7 hectares around Villenauxe-la-Grande, which are predominantly planted with Chardonnay. In addition, they grow Pinot Noir in the communes of Les Riceys and Essoyes in the Côte des Bar region.
