Gault&Millau's review 2026

A wine of captivating charm. Its almost partridge-eye color reveals a fresh nose of herbs and flowers, with pastry notes of shortbread and pain au lait. The spicy style blends turmeric, white pepper, honey and plum. On the palate, the bubbles bring roundness and lightness, evoking ripe fruit and toasty touches. The velvety texture seduces with its delicacy, while the tangy finish offers a salivating sensation of light saline bitters and citrus zest. An airy, refreshing whole.

Anthony Betouzet
After working at the family estate, founded in Dormans in 1963, Anthony Betouzet decided to produce his own brand of champagne when his parents retired. Together with his wife Émilie, they cultivate 8 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Marne Valley, where the Meunier grape reigns supreme, complemented by Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. They produce a diverse range of wines with respect for nature and living organisms: organic farming since 2023, winemaking in oak barrels and stoneware jars, native yeasts, little or no dosage… By appointment, they welcome visitors and organize tours and tastings.
