This 2009 vintage, disgorged in 2022, presents beautiful oxidative notes of walnut, dried apricot and dried fig, combined with spices such as saffron and paprika. On the palate, it's heady, with aromas gradually revealing hazelnut, curry and a hint of cedar. The bubbles are fine, but accompany the wine. It's long, very long, and everything unfolds silkily. A perfect match for poularde au vin jaune or game birds.
