Benoît Cocteaux
The domaine is located south of the Côte de Sézanne. Born into winemaking families, Hélène and Benoît Cocteaux grow mainly Chardonnay, which on this terroir always has a sunny, round character and exotic, honeyed flavors. A few vines of pinot noir and pinot meunier complete the blends. Vinification is carried out plot by plot. The company has set itself the goal of obtaining organic farming certification. To bring out the unique character of each terroir, the couple have completely redesigned their winery, integrating a new 100% Montgenost terroir oak cask, extracted from their forest plot, like the mineral matter in their sandstone jars.
