Gault&Millau's review2026
The Pressoir d'Argent in the magnificent Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux is gleaming, shining and sparkling. And Sir Gordon Ramsay's prestigious menu is made of the same wood, in a grandiose setting that honors both guest and host. French excellence at every level, coordinated by the British chef for a moment of soothing luxury. With his on-site chefs, Alexandre Koa and Gaétan Fiard, the business is in good hands to weave a menu full of elegance, with noble ingredients skilfully distilled, like the turbot Wellington or the lobster with caviar on the latest autumn Anniversary menu. Service is always just right, at the right pace, and the sommelier is very sharp, knowing how to describe with precision the great Bordeaux wines he looks after with respect and pride.
