Sponsored Since 2019, Le Banc de sable is the first surf camp in Vendée. Comprising a restaurant open to all, unusual accommodation (60 beds), a surf school and a surf shop, the place can be privatized, 600 meters from the beach, in the heart of the village of Les Conches. Open from Easter to the end of August, "with variations depending on the weather", as the owner points out, Le Banc de sable serves simple, effective, homemade Italian cuisine: pizzas made on site by the restaurant's pizza maker, salads, tapas, bruschettas... In this surf camp, Emmanuel de Saint-Rémy and Ana Deman welcome surf enthusiasts for all-inclusive stays with accommodation and catering, or more occasionally for events, particularly out of season. The site is open every weekend in May. Le Banc de sable also boasts a pleasant garden, the pleasure of smelling the sea spray during your meal, and the opportunity to purchase beautiful handmade objects by Ana's mother, Annette Van Ryshen. As Le Banc de sable is very weather-dependent, it's advisable to call ahead. In July and August, open for lunch and dinner, Tuesday to Sunday.
