Chef : 2 restaurantsPatrick Henriroux, a member of the very select circle of our Chefs of the Year (back in 1996, he wasn't yet 40), has achieved the immense feat of preserving, in a modernized style, the spirit of Fernand Point's La Pyramide. It's a generous, welcoming place, where diners are happy, in a form of popular communion that Patrick Henriroux and his team know how to maintain.
Son and grandson of farmers, he grew up in Haute-Saône and attended the Lycée Professionnel in Luxeuil-les-Bains before starting his training. His career path took him to L'Auberge Bressane, Bourg-en-Bresse, Georges Blanc and Hôtel Le Goyen, Audierne, before he was chosen to manage La Pyramide, Vienne (Isère), in the late 1980s.
Ten years later, after buying the business and then the premises, he and his wife Pascale are finally at home in a legendary establishment supported by all the region's suppliers and winemakers (the restaurant boasts the finest cellar in the Northern Rhône), who are honored to be part of the La Pyramide adventure.
Patrick Henriroux joins the Gault&Millau Academy on November 18, 2024 .
