Oscar GARCIA
Chef : 1 restaurantOscar Garcia loves a challenge. Not that he's stubborn, but he often succeeds where he's not expected, knows better than anyone else how to awaken the countryside, make a terroir his own, make a territory shine. Franck Putelat's former second-in-command, who seduced us so much in his first position as chef at the Table d'Uzès, winning 3 toques straight away, opened his own restaurant a year ago.a year ago, with his partner Julie Pons, he opened this beautiful restaurant in a proud classic 19th-century manor house on the edge of the département, near Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne.
In this superb setting, which was once the home of a winegrower and a livestock merchant, the chef expresses a sense of beauty and goodness based on the region. With his technical background, he knows how to make the most of the product while giving it a very personal, elaborate, graphic twist, in a beautiful room with stone walls and warm materials, blond wood and beige tones for the most part. The restaurant doubles as a hotel with five elegant rooms.
