The Bear, the event series about the world of cooking and its ups and downs, is back for a third season. Here's everything you need to know.

Have you had a chance to start The Bear series yet? If so, good news! The series, which follows the adventures of chef Carmy and his entire brigade, has been renewed for a third season. If you're not already familiar with this program, take a look.

A realistic look at the world of cooking

Far from glamorizing the world of cooking, the first season of The Bear follows the life of Carmy, a young chef who worked in the world of haute cuisine, before returning to Chicago to run the family sandwich shop after his brother's suicide. As the episodes unfold, viewers discover Carmy's struggles with grief, recalcitrant staff and the realities of running a small business.
In the second season, the sandwich shop is slowly transformed into a gourmet restaurant. The team discovers the bureaucracy of permits and contractors, but also the creativity of developing a new menu. This second season of The Bear also focuses on service and hospitality, too often neglected in television representations.

So, what does this third season have in store for us? For the moment, no information has been leaked about the script or the number of episodes. Available in France on Disney+ and produced by FX Productions, The Bear currently has no release date, but should come out of the fridge sometime in 2024, depending, of course, on the progress of the writers' strike in the United States. First broadcast in June 2022, the series has been nominated for 13 Emmy Awards, including Best Comedy Series.
