Les Relais du Goût 2026: Showcasing Reims’s Artistry
From September 18 to 20, 2026, Reims invites residents and food-loving travelers to experience the third edition of Les Relais du Goût. The event will feature lectures, large communal meals, cooking demonstrations, markets, workshops, and culinary experiences.
After two successful editions, Les Relais du Goût are returning to Reims. Michelin-starred chefs, passionate restaurateurs, winemakers, and Champagne houses are combining their expertise to offer visitors exclusive and unique culinary experiences throughout the city.
What’s New in 2026
For this third edition, the festival features several new additions. The Sacre du Pâté en croûte is one you won’t want to miss. Dedicated to one of the iconic products of France’s culinary heritage, this competition invites artisans, charcutiers and caterers, restaurant owners, bakers, pastry chefs, and up-and-coming talents to present their own interpretation of the pâté en croûte, showcasing the local products and expertise of the Champagne region. The competition allows visitors to discover the finalists’ creations, attend the jury’s tastings and the announcement of the results, and then sample the competing pâtés en croûte.
Another event not to be missed: the most beautiful room at the La Caserne Chanzy hotel is transformed into a pop-up gourmet dining experience, overlooking the rooftops of Reims. Perched on the fifth floor of the century-old Art Deco building, twelve guests will take their seats around an exclusive table d’hôtes, facing Notre-Dame Cathedral. Each course is crafted by Chef Julien Raphanel, alongside a different guest chef, featuring an original menu designed specifically for the event. This collaborative creation is paired with champagne and food pairings selected especially for the occasion.
Unique Highlights
The Farmers’ Market at the Les Crayères estate, organized by Christophe Moret, where some forty local artisans showcase the richness of the Champagne region in a festive and gourmet atmosphere, is a must-attend event. The Banquet du Carmel offers a unique gastronomic experience. It consists of four variations on food and wine pairings. The Chapelle du Carmel welcomes Chef Matthieu Audinot for a dinner conceived as a journey through cultures, influences, and flavors.
Since its inception in 2024, Les Relais du Goût has gradually established itself as one of the premier events for food lovers. This festival celebrates Champagne’s culinary expertise and the joy of taste in all its forms.
