Beer Cellar La Cuvée des Aulps, or craft beer at its best: that's the challenge facing Marine Pichon, a 26-year-old business school graduate who chose to return to her native Savoie to open her microbrewery. Here, local Savoie water is used to brew, and fresh, organic produce is used to flavour refined, unique beers. In all, it offers a dozen beers, as well as ephemeral creations with names evoking Savoyard dialect (Gnagnou, Chalendes, Balouria, Gouappe...), with arty, quirky labels that are sure to seduce suds aesthetes. From the light white with lemon verbena to the blonde with fresh ginger, Marine has more than one trick up its sleeve! Add to this the possibility of creating a bespoke cuvée with a personalized recipe and custom label. Barrels and tapping machines are also available for hire for all kinds of events. While awaiting the opening of her vintage version of a traveling bar, craft beer lovers can find Marine's malty creations on the online boutique and in numerous outlets in the region, including bars, wine shops and restaurants.
