Description
Pastry A former chef by trade, who has since trained in pastry-making and baking, Steeve Girardin has all the strings to his culinary bow to offer products that match his values. In addition to the classic Tradi baguette, he offers a wide range of special breads, alternating every other day according to the season. The Tour de Main, made with spelt, rye and ground rye, and the Pain des Gaults, an improved country-style loaf sold by weight, have their fans. Steeve Girardin chooses local, additive-free flours and makes his own sourdough to better control fermentation. As a result, the bread has an unrivalled taste, keeps longer and is easier to digest, even if you're gluten intolerant. Viennese pastries crunch in the mouth. The pain au chocolat with homemade chocolate spread (sold in a jar) is a real treat for gourmets. Steeve Girardin's creative signature pastries include the Champagne-based Champenois and the Printanier, a subtle blend of hazelnut, vanilla, pistachio and strawberry. The house also offers a catering service for your events, and, soon, homemade ice creams!
