Cheese dairy In Pau, the Fromagerie du Pic d'Anie - a nod to the famous peak in the Béarn Pyrenees - is a must for cheese lovers. At the helm, Delphine Angevin-Casenave, who has worked with some of the world's finest cheesemakers, passionately selects the finest farmhouse and artisan cheeses. Sheep, cow, goat, mixed... there's something for everyone! Among the must-try cheeses, you'll find aged pressed cheeses like Ossau-Iraty, creamy goat's cheeses, and exceptional specialties from all over France and beyond. In the shop window, Comté and Saint-Nectaire cheeses rub shoulders with rarer items such as Hörbi, a Swiss cheese matured with 13 spices and 14 herbs, or a mini Camembert di bufala with truffles. The boutique also offers custom-made platters, perfect for a tasting with friends or a special event. On the delicatessen side, Delphine delights gourmets with her selection of artisan jams, producer preserves (blanquette de veau, rougail saucisse...), local charcuterie and cooked vegetables (haricots blancs, piperade...).
