Winemaker Clos Troteligotte was created in 1987 by Emmanuel Rybinski on high altitude terroirs in the Cahors appellation. These 15 hectares are planted on red clay-limestone soil that is also rich in iron. Certified organic in 2014, the winemaker began biodynamic viticulture in 2015. He made micro-parcel selections within the Clos and thus created, according to the soil's iron richness, a range that represents a variation of the Malbec grape variety on this unique terroir in the Cahors appellation.
