Gault&Millau's review

Winemaker Rooted in Carnac-Rouffiac since the 14th century, the Molinié family is closely linked to the village's history. At the château, Matthieu and his wife Virginie produce the Ponzac trilogy: the cuvées Maintenant, Patiemment and Éternellement. They manage 33 ha of vines, which are in the process of being certified organic. After plenty of aeration, the wines reveal the integrity of a powerful Causse malbec, particularly in the cuvées made in jars.
