The Waris-Larmandier estate, located in Avize, was founded in 1989 by Marie-Hélène and Vincent Waris. Based in Avize, they cultivate 6 hectares of vineyards, divided into 34 plots, planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier, as well as small amounts of Arban, Pinot Blanc, and Petit Meslier. Jean-Philippe joined his mother, and the estate transitioned to biodynamic farming in 2010, working with respect for living organisms. Certification was granted in 2020. Another unique feature of the estate is the introduction of “œno-art,” a wine tourism program, which also offers two guesthouses for visitors wishing to spend the night at the vineyard and explore the region.
