Gault&Millau's review
There are many Larmandier families in Champagne. Here, we're at the Waris-Larmandier estate, in the heart of Avize and the Côte des Blancs, even if 3 ha - out of the 6.5 planted in total - are dedicated to Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. With the arrival of Jean-Philippe Waris, Marie-Hélène's son, the estate is moving a little closer to traditional methods of cultivation, in the good sense of the word - grassing, tilling the soil, organic soil improvers, etc. - and is actively turning towards the development of new products. -In 2020, it will be certified biodynamic. Another special feature of the estate is its "oeno-art" tourism program, which also includes two gîtes for visitors wishing to spend the night in the vineyard and discover the region.
