This Pinot Noir was aged for 18 months in oak barrels. The nose is complex, revealing aromas of cherry, blackcurrant, graphite, smoke, zan, toast and vanilla bean. Tasty on the palate, with silky, elegant tannins. The touch of wood still present adds a little something extra, and is matched by notes of spice and tobacco, even a little blood. There's character, depth and a very digestible style. The coffee and chocolate finish takes us even further, without ever pausing. A pinot noir from Burgundy with incredible value for money.

Vincent Couche

Vincent Couche is best known for the champagnes he produces in the heart of the Côte des Bar region. But for several years now, he has also owned 14 hectares of vines in northern Burgundy, in the commune of Molesme, with terroirs close to Chablis (Kimmeridgian) but also to the Centre-Loire (Oxfordian). This high proportion of limestone produces wines with great tension and excellent ageing potential. It produces white and red wines (in various appellations, including Chablis), as well as sparkling wines. The wines are matured both in barrel and in amphora. Excellent value for money for these biodynamic wines.
