The owners, who come from a family of winegrowers, work 7 hectares of grand cru vines and use only natural yeasts from Verzenay. The family has been making champagnes since 1946, and the Champagne Vignon brand is now run by the third generation. Their blends are predominantly Pinot Noir, with a few old Chardonnay vines. Very sensitive to the notion of terroir, the family produces limited quantities of barrels from the village forest, in which they mature their wines.
