Gault&Millau's review
This family estate, located in Étoges, a charming village wedged between the vineyards of Épernay and Sézanne, was founded in 1860. The 35 plots covering 5 ha enable the estate to produce a wide range of wines aged in both vats and oak barrels. The grapes come from their own vineyards, and the estate is certified HVE (high environmental value). Largely dominated by Pinot Meunier, the grape varieties are complemented by 15% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay. The estate welcomes visitors by appointment for a tour that takes them 15 m underground, into a 100 m-long chalk gallery where the champagnes rest before being marketed.
