Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
In 1962, Raymond Sourdet and his wife planted a few vines in La Chapelle-Monthodon, between Épernay and Château-Thierry. They sold all their grapes to Champagne houses. In 1975, their son Patrick and his wife Nadine Diot decided to bottle their own production and founded the Sourdet-Diot Champagne house. Ludivine Sourdet, a third-generation member of the family, joined the estate in 2008. Over time, new equipment has been installed to improve quality. Some cuvées are aged in large oak casks and barrels.
