Gault&Millau's review
Winegrowers from generation to generation, Hubert and Claudine Meyer founded their own winery in 1992. Their son Gilles took over twenty years later, and in 2022, with his wife Noémie, they created Domaine Sainte-Joie. Located in central Alsace, at the foot of the Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg, Noémie and Gilles look after an estate of just over 30 hectares, farmed organically and using biodynamic principles. Since 2023, thanks to their shared culture, the couple have also been working in Champagne, producing a cuvée from Premier Cru terroirs.

Presentation
Sainte Joie is a family estate based in Alsace. Wine being for them a French jewel, the domaine has put one foot in Champagne and the other in Provence. The expertise of Maison Meyer has resulted in a collection of exceptional wines that poetically reveal their roots and the passionate work of the winemaker. Noémie and Gilles aspire to share their passion for wine and gastronomy by creating magnificent food and wine pairings. Today, Sainte Joie welcomes you to two extraordinary settings. In the heart of nature, on the estate's most beautiful plot, at the foot of the Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg, or in the heart of the city of Colmar, in a superb 13th-century building, for an unforgettable moment of tasting and sharing.
