Crushed raspberry coloured robe with luminous watermelon reflections. A savoury nose with sous bois and dried spices. The mousse is like crushed ice melting, with crunchy “ephemeral” bubbles. Savoury on the palate, this is definitely a gastronomic wine, with black sour dough bread, ginger and black pepper spices, as lychee and stone fruit, red and black berries build until the strong, long final, sapide and saline, still crunchy and fresh like thawing frozen blueberries.

Régis Poissinet

This family estate, founded in 1947, is located on both banks of the Marne valley. Taken over by Régis Poissinet in 2008, the 7 ha are gradually being converted to organic and biodynamic viticulture (certification in 2020), as the winemaker is convinced of the fundamental role of nature in the production of fine grapes. The villages of Cuchery, Baslieux, Leuvrigny, Troissy and Mareuil-le-Port support the vines, with a majority of Pinot Meunier. The range currently comprises just five champagne cuvées. The domaine has also just released its first coteaux-champenois.
