Paul Berthelot
The Berthelot family has been involved in winegrowing for five generations. Today, Jacques has handed over the reins to his son Arnaud. The 16 ha parcels are located in Dizy and Avenay (premier cru) and Aÿ (grand cru). In recent years, the estate has reduced its reliance on chemical treatments (weed-killing, anti-mildew, anti-oidium). In addition to the classic blends, based on the three Champagne grape varieties, the Berthelots produce parcel-based cuvées that have existed for several years, but were not claimed in previous years.
