Made from the only old-vine Chardonnay from the hot 2018 vintage, this coteaux de pur Chouilly is very successful. The nose opens with aromas of citrus, rhubarb and freshly cut herbs. With aeration and warming, more exotic notes of white pineapple and ageing come through, with hints of toast. On the palate, the wine is pure, taut and saline, and particularly racy. A very fine coteaux-champenois that makes you crave the finest fish au naturel.
