A brilliant light gold color and fine, slow bubbles for this 1990 vintage, with a nose of marjoram, barley sugar, zest and redcurrant. The palate reveals hints of candied citrus, quince jelly, pastry and mirabelle plum. The finish lingers on almond and stone. A lively, straightforward wine with excellent acidity, to be enjoyed with a timbale of crayfish with citrus fruit.
