This Clos, barely one hectare in Dizy, produces a particularly successful champagne in this hot, dry vintage. The nose is gourmand and sensual, with notes of candied citrus fruit, lemon meringue pie, chalk and a very fine toastiness. On the palate, the wine is just right, perfectly balanced, with a wonderful suavity that is never heavy. And what length... Superb!
