Louis Nicaise
The story begins with Lucien, who founded the company in 1928. At the same time, he created one of the Hautvillers cooperatives, before going independent with his son. Since 2012, his great-granddaughter Laure, the fourth generation, has taken over the reins of the family domaine, working with her husband, Clément Préaux, who trained at Anselme Selosse and the Mailly Grand Cru cooperative. Grape varieties are cultivated on a parcel-by-parcel basis, using organic methods.
