Seductive is the first word that springs to mind when one considers this champagne, which is subtle with its floral, spring-like aromas, an invitation to take a walk in the fields on a sunny day. On the palate, the emphasis is more on power, with an intense, almost dense body. Notes of brioche, butter, toast and slight signs of evolution contribute to the wine's complexity. The finish is enveloping, almost cuddly, with a present sweetness.

Louis de Chatet

Created in January 2018, Champagne Louis de Chatet is a brand aimed at the professional market (cavistes) and export by the Pierre Launay house, established since 1973 at Barbonne-Fayel in the Sézannais region, south of the Côte des Blancs. The vineyard covers 14 hectares, two-thirds of which are located in Barbonne Fayel and Broyes (Marne), with the remaining third in Loches-sur-Ource and Buxeuil in the Côte des Bar (Barséquanais). The three brothers, Laurent, Lionel and Jérôme, work the soil and manage the estate together. The wines are kept in the cellar for a minimum of six years (ten years for vintage cuvées) before being sold.
