The full expression of the "folle noire" grape here, with intense aromas of lightly stewed black fruits, smokiness and juicy, greedy intensity. This texture is echoed in a very fleshy, intense palate, both loose and powerful. The wood is still present, but the tannins are softening. A wine of character to accompany a piece of grilled meat.
