Gault&Millau's review
Pierre Lamiable planted his first vines in the mid-1950s in Tours-sur-Marne, at a place called Les Vignes de Meslaines. His son Jean-Pierre, a doctor in sports medicine, finally took over the running of the estate in 1972, and discovered that he had the soul of a winemaker and businessman. The company now produces its own bottles. Today, the third generation, represented by Ophélie and her husband Arnaud, keep this precious heritage alive with passion. Certified HVE3 and VDC, the estate's vineyards are mainly located on the Grand Cru terroirs of Tours-sur-Marne and Bouzy, and the Premier Cru of Billy-le-Grand. The winery organizes numerous tours, including an introduction to disgorging.
