Jean-Noël Haton
Since 1928, this family-run business has mastered its independence and created its own vineyards in some of Champagne's most renowned crus. Octave Haton, the great-grandfather, founded the company, and René Haton succeeded him to develop the estate and cultivate vines with an average age of 35 years, using integrated farming methods. The family vineyard covers 45 hectares around the village of Damery and in the Grands Crus, out of a total of 60 hectares (including Saint-Thierry and Noé-les-Mallets). Today, Jean-Noël Haton is assisted by his son Sébastien. Particular care is given to the vineyard, with practices such as ploughing and disbudding. Wide range recommended.
