Jacques Picard
The story begins in the 1950s, with Roger Picard planting the first vines for the winery in Berru, northeast of Reims. His son, Jacques Picard, joined the family business in the 1960s and registered his name, which would later appear on the labels of his champagnes. In the 1990s, it was the turn of Sylvie and Corinne, Jacques' two daughters, to take over. As owner, harvester and winemaker in Berru, Avenay-Val-d'Or and Montbré, Jacques Picard crafts its champagnes with technical skill and passion. The estate has been certified organic since 2022.
