Gault&Millau's review
The Jacquart brand belongs to the Alliance Champagne cooperative group, which brings together 1,800 winegrowers cultivating some 2,000 ha of all types of Champagne terroir. This mosaic of soils and selected grape varieties (60 crus spread over more than 300 ha) has given rise to the names of the cuvées now produced by Joëlle Weiss, using cuvée juices. The "Alpha" cuvée tops this range, with blends of premier and grand crus that have been waiting in the cellar for a long time. The company's headquarters are located in the heart of Reims, on boulevard Lundy. A magnificent historic mansion houses this young, contemporary brand, whose creations are easy to find.
