Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Jean-Michel Gremillet is quite proud of the achievements of his children, Jean-Christophe and Anne. Together with their spouses, Karine and Stéphane, they have taken up the torch at this independent winery based in Balnot-sur-Laignes in the Aube department. It is in this region of the Côte des Bar that they primarily harvest Pinot Noir planted on limestone soils and Chardonnay prized for its finesse and freshness. Working alongside them—and to meet growing demand in France and 82 other countries—the Gremillet family sources grapes from 80 growers based in Montgueux, Cramant, and Béthon, for a total annual production of 500,000 bottles.
