Under a brilliant straw color, the bouquet directly announces the age of this cuvée, with aromas of nuts (almond, walnut), dried fruit (apricot, fig) and a hint of truffle. However, the whole retains its freshness, associated with citron zest and bergamot. A nose that takes you on a journey back in time. On the palate, a refined acidity titillates the taste buds from the outset and continues throughout the tasting, without ever being aggressive, avoiding any heaviness. Unctuous pastry notes of vanilla chestnut cream. The remarkably well-balanced finish retains a cuddliness and tension that augurs well for several more years of cellaring. This great champagne can stand on its own as a conversation wine. An opportunity to share a few secrets.
