Gault&Millau's review
The champagne brand Gosset-Brabant was created from an alliance between two people. Gabriel Gosset has been making his own champagne since the 1930s, while Andrée Brabant, in association with his wife, evolved their family business in the town of Aÿ. The exploitation has been taken over today by their grandsons, Michel and Christian Gosset. They cultivate a total of 9.55 hectares of vines aged over 25 years old (5.10 hectares of grand cru located mainly around Aÿ, and 4 hectares of premier cru in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Dizy and Avenay- Val d'Or, and a further 0.45 hectares of grand cru Chouilly in the Côte des Blancs).
