Gault&Millau's review
Karla and Yan-Alexandre, independent winemakers, head up a family estate created by Vincent Gonet and his wife Davy Sulcova in 1985. They create new cuvées, always with low dosage so as not to mask the original expression of soil and vintage. The vineyard, certified HVE3, is planted with 80% Chardonnay on three terroirs: Mesnil-sur-Oger, Montgueux and Loches-sur-Ource. The cuvées from these parcels are blended by the Gonet Sulcova family.

Vincent Gonet's family settled in Mesnil-sur-Oger in the early 20th century. Over the generations, the vineyard expanded, and the family began to make a name for themselves with their Cuvée de Montgueux. In 1985, Vincent Gonet and his wife, Davy Sulcova, took over management of the vineyards and moved to Épernay to create their own brand. Davy Sulcova designs all the bottles. Their children have now taken over. Their champagnes are always low dosage cuvées, so as not to mask the original juice and allow the terroir to fully express itself in each bottle.
