This cuvée is all about brightness, freshness and lightness. Don't be fooled by appearances, there's substance, a lovely mid-palate without weakness and length on an interesting saline note. This wine house is not looking for showiness or power, but for half-tones with elegance and subtlety. Serve with a fillet of St. Pierre en papillotes and a few fine herbs.

Gilbert Leseurre

The grandson and son of winemakers from the Côte des Bar, Gilbert Leseurre launched his own brand in 1979. The vineyard spans more than 7 hectares across 17 distinct plots in the municipalities of Arrentières, Colombé-le-Sec, Voigny, and Rouvres-les-Vignes, featuring a variety of exposures and a rich geological composition that give these wines interesting organoleptic profiles. The vineyard is traditionally planted with Pinot Noir (80%), Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier. A fine range of wines, from traditional to brut nature, vinified by plot and grape variety, most often in stainless steel tanks and sometimes in barrels and large casks.
