A bouquet as fresh and tender as an armful of freshly picked wildflowers, agrarian notes of chervil and rain-wet grass, before sandalwood and peony enrich the ensemble with their sensual fragrances. The acidity of yellow citrus dominates the palate, accompanied by fine but present bubbles, and carries through to a finish with a lovely bitterness.

Gérin et Fils

The Gérin family has been growing vines at Brouillet for five generations. When Yves took over, he enlarged the property and decided to vinify the entire production on site with his own press. A new adventure begins. He inaugurated his own brand, Champagne Gérin et Fils, in 1980. He practises integrated farming and was awarded the HVE3 and VDC labels in 2020. The house, which offers bed and breakfast accommodation (run by Yves' wife Sandrine), is open to visitors for a tour of the facilities, ending with a convivial tasting session.
