The nose might suggest that this is a Chardonnay, with its intense freshness particularly pleasing, frank and unostentatious, like a bouquet picked from the meadows in springtime. The palate reminds us that this is indeed a blanc de noirs, with a fullness and intensity that testify to the presence of the miller. Rich without heaviness, fresh without excessive acidity. Just a slender, straight and pure structure for a remarkably gourmand wine where fruit dominates.

Gérin et Fils

The Gérin family has been growing vines at Brouillet for five generations. When Yves took over, he enlarged the property and decided to vinify the entire production on site with his own press. A new adventure begins. He inaugurated his own brand, Champagne Gérin et Fils, in 1980. He practises integrated farming and was awarded the HVE3 and VDC labels in 2020. The house, which offers bed and breakfast accommodation (run by Yves' wife Sandrine), is open to visitors for a tour of the facilities, ending with a convivial tasting session.
