Gault&Millau's review
Based on the Reims mountain, Georges Rémy farms 4.5 ha in the communes of Bouzy, Ambonnay, Tauxières-Mutry and Louvois. All the vines, classified as Premier and Grand Crus, have been certified organic since 2018. Domaine Georges Rémy is one of the most sought-after names in Bouzy, where it is located. Here, every effort is made to ensure the quality of the wines and the expression of the terroirs: harvesting delayed as far as possible, parcel-by-parcel vinification, ageing in containers appropriate to each wine, no chaptalization, long bottle ageing... The winemaker is passionate about his wines, which combine expressiveness, finesse and freshness. Champagnes made for laying down.
