The nose is concentrated, with raspberry jam and pepper, but remains delicate (with notes of dried rose) and fresh, with lemon thyme. On the palate, the wine is suave, with a little tannin (to hold it all together) and aromas of red fruit. The finish surprises with spices (curry, fennel seed) and candied clementine peel. The tangy sensation continues throughout the tasting, making this wine a perfect match for a noble baked fish.

Domaine Novella

The Novella family has been cultivating vines since the 1920s. In 1950, Fabien Novella planted the first plots of his own vineyard, covering an area of 4 hectares. In 1976, the estate expanded by planting native grape varieties on steep slopes. Pierre, the latest generation, now looks after 20 hectares of organically-farmed vines in the Patrimonio and Muscat du Cap Corse appellations. The estate also welcomes visitors for wine tastings.
