This mellow, Chenin-based cuvée is the perfect example of a controlled acidity/sugar balance. The nose is gourmand, with aromas of roasted pineapple, acacia honey, ginger, lemongrass and cocoa almond. On the palate, the harmony between smoothness and tension produces an airy wine with notes of dried mango, spices and lime. A muscat, peppery and slightly chalky finish completes this wine full of life and light.

Domaine de Bellivière

Christine and Éric Nicolas created the Domaine de Bellivière in 1995 in the commune of Lhomme, Sarthe. After accompanying them, their son Clément and his wife Laure-Anne took over full management of the estate in 2021. They manage 18 hectares of vines that have been certified organic since 2008 and biodynamic since 2011. The estate is planted with Chenin (white) and Pineau d'Aunis (red). In 2016, to cope with the all-too-regular frost problems, they created a trading arm, Les Arches de Bellivière.
